What you will learn

In Manual NVR Part 2, the second course in this series, we will thoroughly explore techniques and strategies for working with the lower thorax, pelvis, and hips. Our goals are to improve structural balance and comfortable range of movement, while developing your clients' interoception, proprioception, and nervous system regulation. In this class you will:

  • Expand your map of the neural and vascular networks throughout the lower body.
  • Understand how asymmetric artery tension in the lower extremities contributes to scoliosis and pelvic torsion.
  • Refine your ability to free up peripheral nerves, cranial nerves, and dural restrictions.
  • Combine visual, functional, and palpatory assessments to help you choose where to work and what to do when you are there.
  • Revisit strategies and techniques from Part 1 as you do integrative work for your class model.

Prerequisite for this course: Manual NVR Part 1. (This course builds on skills learned in Part 1. You need not have mastered the Part 1 techniques before attending Part 2, but you do need to know in your hands the subtlety and precision of this work.)
